When Lonokaʻeho's brother leaves Tahiti, he soon finds himself in Hawaiʻi searching for him. Lonokaʻeho meets the natives of Waiʻanae and learns of their beautiful valleys while on his journey.

The Ka‘ena Aloha Series contain eight traditional Hawaiian legends stories about the Wai‘anae coast on the island of O'ahu told in photographic depiction. Each story features photographers and models from their respective moku who all donated their time and work to recreate the lost stories of ancient Hawai‘i.
